Eligibility Criteria for Mauritius Government Scholarship 2025
There is general requirements for the eligibility criteria of Mauritius Government Scholarship. Criteria is listed below:
- Applicants must be Citizen of an African Union or African Commonwealth country
- Age of applicants must me for Bachelor’s students (18-25 years as of 01 January 2026), MPhil/PhD Students (under 40 years as of 01 January 2026)
- Applicants must have applied for a full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s and Phd Degree program at a public Higher Education Institution in Mauritius for the 2025 academic year
- PhD students must be requires a first-class Master’s degree or MPhil, meeting awarding body criteria
- MPhil students must requires an upper second-class Master’s degree (GPA greater than 60%)
- Bachelor Degree students must have minimum of 21 points at GCE or HSC A-Level, 60% average, or equivalent
